“Lines are both created by being followed and are followed by being created” Ahmed (2006)
Queering Spaces
By combining theoretical investigations and practice-based methods; this practice addresses questions regarding the construction of the body in various settings. Here students investigated the configuration of spaces in relation to the body. By studying the interaction of the body and space, we have observed, analysed and reflected upon our own and others' experiences.

Are spaces hierarchical? What does it mean to have agency in a space? How do notions of space, place, and scale interplay with issues of race, gender, and class? How do dominant ideas on what it means to be part of society manifest in our surroundings?

Through a queer framework we questioned the (in)visible rules of the spaces that we are constantly engaged with.
